For our international client, one of the most successful companies in the field of construction & contracting for local highway infrastructures we are looking for a Procurement Specialist for their head quarter in Bucharest.

Your new role

• Coordinates and carries out all stages of the procurement process, from requesting offers to delivery.
• Monitors material requirements, stock levels and market trends to streamline the procurement process.
• Seeks viable alternatives for existing suppliers, both for materials and labor.
• Identifies the most suitable suppliers, and prepares the comparison tables for evaluating costs, quality and reliability, in accordance with internal and group policies.
• Constantly communicates with suppliers to confirm orders, establish delivery dates and clarify logistical aspects.
• Keeps track of due dates, deadlines of all procurement contracts.
• Manages and updates the database with items and materials, correcting any errors and maintaining the accuracy of information.
• Performs comparative cost and scenario analysis to choose the most advantageous solutions.
• Monitors’ contracts for the purchase of goods and works.
• Prepares various reports, presentations and statements at the request of the company's management.
• Provides information and assistance for contracts under his responsibility to other colleagues.
• Identify risks related to the procurement process.
• Ensure communication with all internal / external parties involved.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 10 years of total experience and a minimum of 5 years’ experience to be in construction sector.
• Being familiar with construction machinery, equipment and materials.
• Availability to visit construction sites and the authorities in the cities where the construction sites are located
• Proficiency in using MS Office
• Adaptability to the new working environment
• At least B group driving license (Valid at least for more than 7 years)
• Written and verbal communication skills in English at advanced level
• Strong communication, collaboration and team work skills
• Attention to details, strong analytical skills
