For one of our clients, a global company that develops and distributes innovative plant protection products, we are looking for a skilled Business & Brand Development Manager to be responsible of developing and consolidating a new brand on the Romanian market.
Your new role
You will be responsible for building strong relationships with major DIY retailers, distributors, and B2B partners, while also guiding the brand throughout its entire growth journey – from positioning and negotiation to maximizing sales.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in B2B sales and business development (3-5 years)
- Experience with Key Accounts – preferably DIY retailers, FMCG, building materials, or home & garden.
- Knowledge of product management: brand/product development, positioning, and growth.
- Advanced negotiation and contracting skills.
- Ability to analyze and use sales data for strategic decisions.
- English language - advanced level
- Driving License – category B; availability for frequent travel across the country
What you'll get in return
- Develop the brand in the Romanian market, focusing on the B2B and DIY retail segment.
- Manage the key client portfolio and expand the partner network.
- Identify new business opportunities and sign strategic partnerships.
- Ensure product visibility and performance in stores (merchandising, promotions, special placements).
- Manage the full product management cycle: launch, positioning, monitoring, and optimization.
- Negotiate national commercial contracts.
- Regular client visits across the country (frequent travel, ~60–70%).
- Monitor the market, competitors, and consumer trends.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, logistics, and finance teams to implement commercial plans.
