For one of our clients, a dynamic company in the food industry, committed to innovation and excellence, we are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Area Manager to join their team in Oradea.

Your new role
  • Define and implement the commercial policy for food retail stores, taking into account the specific characteristics of each location (placement, size, customer profile, etc.).
  • Establish and update the pricing policy in line with the company’s strategy and market dynamics.
  • Analyse the market, competition, and consumer behaviour to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Develop the product assortment and optimise the product mix.
  • Negotiate commercial contracts and manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (sales, margins, stock rotation) and propose corrective actions when needed.
  • Coordinate the commercial team and collaborate closely with the operations, procurement, and marketing departments.
  • Ensure full compliance with commercial policies across all stores within the network.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant experience in commercial roles within the food retail industry
  • Team management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising, and category management
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills
  • Strong leadership abilities, results-oriented mindset, and capacity for fast decision‑making
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
  • Good command of MS Office / CRM / ERP systems
