Regional Finance Controller

Financial Controller wanted in Bucharest!
For our partner, a company specialized in engineering and technical consulting services, part of a well‑established international group delivering technical solutions for the maritime and energy industries, we are looking for a Financial Controller.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the preparation of financial and analytical reporting for the Group in collaboration with the persons in charge of controlling, including the production of consolidated financial statements and in-depth analytical dashboards to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborates with the outsourcing accounting company to ensure reporting of VAT, P&L, BS as per Romanian accounting standards
  • Manage accounting activities in his/her scope related to the financial reporting and transactional accounting of the company
  • Apply rules/standards to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
  • Accomplish tasks within monthly schedule to meet Group standards and deadlines
  • Mentoring and share best practices
  • Financial & reporting tools: Oracle ERP, Magnitude (financial reporting), Anaplan (financial planning)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 5+ years experience in the area
  • Understanding of Local GAAP and IFRS
  • English Proficiency
  • Nice to have exposure on - Oracle ERP, Magnitude, Anaplan
