• Review & monitor activities to ensure basic R2R, P2P and O2C process activities are performed in line with agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Reconcile accounts, initiate journal entries, calculate month end accruals, and ensure a complete and accurate general ledger is maintained in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
• Monitor vendor invoice payments process to ensure payments are executed on due date, initiate manual payment process when required, monitor AR and AP clearing process and as well as cash and bank reconciliations
• Assist the Financial Controller or external fiscal advisor in preparing fiscal declarations (income tax, VAT)
• Chief
  also coaches less experienced accounting staff and helps to resolve problems. Overall the responsibilities of Chief Accounts are more of review and approve type.
• Chief manages the Local Chart of Accounts and makes sure the GL master data is up to date to meet statutory requirements for its Legal entities

• Knowledge of IFRS as well as local GAAP and other relevant local tax & legal
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or in a relevant field
• Good level of English
• CECCAR certificate - a plus.
• SAP ERP - a plus.
