Your new role

• Perform prechecks and activities related to the design and implementation.
• Determine the migration approach to ensure that the databases are upgraded to the latest version that is in support.
• Perform Oracle database upgrades.
• Ensure the functionality and performance of the database systems and supervises other DBAs.
• Provide support and works toward solving incidents/doing current tasks/solving issues and problems with the purpose of ensuring agreed SLA.

What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge of database administration in a production environment, very advanced level
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft Sql Server database administration
• Advanced knowledge of SQL tuning
• Knowledge of programming in PL/SQL and shell UNIX/Linux
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC technology, Golden Gate, Data Guard, Grid/Cloud Control, RMAN, Datapump and so on
