Electrical Design Engineer

Looking for an Electrical Design Engineer in Bucharest.
Your new company
An independent and privately owned engineering company founded with the purpose of delivering customised, quality engineering and project services.

Your new role
  • Perform cable and conduit sizing
  • Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), feeder and protection sizing
  • Prepare electrical equipment layouts with dimensions
  • Perform short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash studies
  • Transformer sizing, lighting, UPS load and voltage drop calculations
  • Prepare cable tray / conduit routing drawings and as-built drawings
  • Prepare BOQ / material take-offs
  • Vendor follow-up (pre-order and post-order)
  • Site visits for field survey of existing electrical conditions
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams


What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master preferred)
  • Knowledge of LV power systems and electrical circuits (cable sizing and cable routing definition)
  • Strong Experience in lighting design and calculation
  • Strong Experience in earthing & lighting design
  • Understanding of international electrical standards and industrial plant design
  • CAD proficiency (electrical design), AutoCAD, Dialux
