Your new company
We are looking for a Network Operations Center Lead for a global company that provides services and solutions for telecom network deployment, optimization and de-carbonization, to act as the primary technical and operational reference point for all local NOC teams across the Group's subsidiaries. The ideal candidate defines standards, leads continuous improvement, integrates AI-driven capabilities and owns the architecture underpinning NOC operations across the Group.
Your new role
- Define, document and enforce a common NOC operational framework (processes, procedures, escalation paths, SLA governance).
- Lead onboarding, training and continuous upskilling programs for local NOC operators and team leads.
- Conduct regular operational reviews and audits of local NOC performance; identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure local NOCs have the tools, dashboards, runbooks, and knowledge bases required to operate effectively.
- Serve as the group escalation point for complex incidents requiring cross-country or cross-team coordination.
- Provide guidance and governance on the monitoring of telecom infrastructure sites and their power assets (generators, batteries, rectifiers, etc.).
- Define alarm severity taxonomy, thresholds, and filtering rules to reduce noise and ensure meaningful alerting across local NOC platforms.
- Standardize monitoring coverage templates and KPI definitions (availability, MTTR, MTBF, alarm resolution rate, etc.) across all subsidiaries.
- Support local NOCs in prioritizing alarms and dispatching field teams efficiently based on site criticality, SLA requirements and asset health.
- Establish and maintain a standardized incident lifecycle process – from alarm detection through resolution and post-incident review.
- Define RCA (Root Cause Analysis) methodologies and templates; coach local teams on structured problem-solving techniques.
- Define escalation protocols and coordinate with field operations managers to optimize field team deployment and response times.
- Design and implement an intelligent monitoring framework, including predictive alerting, anomaly detection, and automated ticket creation using AI/ML.
- Lead the integration of AI capabilities into NOC operations: incident classification, predictive maintenance, RCA support, and workload automation.
- Supervise applied AI projects including NLP-based ticket analysis, machine learning models for fault prediction, and RPA for repetitive NOC tasks.
- Collaborate with data science, BI, and development teams to industrialize AI solutions and embed them into the operational workflow.
- Harmonize and drive the continuous evolution of the platform: architecture improvements, new features, UX enhancements, and performance optimization.
- Manage rollout plans and adoption tracking for new features in each subsidiary; provide training and change management support.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven track record in NOC management or leadership, ideally in a multi-site or multi-country telecom environment;
- Hands-on involvement in AI/ML projects (project technical collaboration).
- Deep knowledge of telecom infrastructure monitoring (mainly passive infrastructure and power systems).
- Familiarity with power asset management (generators, batteries, rectifiers, fuel monitoring).
- Understanding of SLA management, KPI definition, and telecom network performance reporting.
- Experience with RPA tools for operational automation.
