Your new role

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with developers in the renewable energy field
Implement expansion plans across the assigned territory in line with Company strategy

Conduct preliminary discussions for the legal, technical and financial analysis of the renewable energy projects

Streamline and formulate robust legal, technical, and commercial opinion for new projects with aim of ensuring statutory adherence and mitigating organizational risk exposure

Leading and supporting a wide range of permitting procedures, permitting management, and reviewing the permitting documentation submitted to authorities to ensure conformity with laws and regulations.

Providing advice and supporting project development matters

Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for the development procedure of renewable energy projects

Monitoring legal and technical risks and compliance with obligations from permitting documents

Engaging with public authorities in relation to development matters

Ensures that technical and legal matters regarding the development process are fulfilled and delivered on time

Determine appropriate points of interconnection with electric utility grid resources and determine interconnection feasibility, including easements for interconnecting lines

Support the finance team in setting up financial modelling of projects with the goal of achieving comprehensive and realistic financial expectations

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, related fields
At least 5 years Renewable energy project development experience with successful track records

Knowledge of renewable energy, utility, and market

Knowledge of local renewable energy development rules and regulation including solar/wind legislation and guidelines, tax issues

Analytical skills to collate and generate reports for projects

Fluency in English.
