Your new role

As a Senior QA Engineer you will:
  • Take ownership of the quality assurance process for software releases, ensuring thorough planning, execution, and closure of testing activities.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of both manual and automated test cases, while promoting best practices and mentoring team members.
  • Design and evolve robust test automation frameworks that integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines, supporting both cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Drive a quality-first mindset within Agile teams, emphasizing early testing and continuous feedback.
  • Plan and execute non-functional testing strategies, including performance, scalability, and reliability assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine testing processes and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Manage and prioritize defect and automation backlogs, ensuring timely resolution and measurable progress.
  • Contribute to team growth through hiring, onboarding, and skill development initiatives.
  • Apply a deep understanding of product architecture to identify opportunities for automation and quality improvements.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values transparency, accountability, and innovation.


What you'll need to succeed

Education Qualification:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent are a plus.
Technical Expertise:
  • Proven experience in testing web, desktop, and mobile applications, with a strong focus on automation and performance testing.
  • Hands-on knowledge of tools and technologies such as:
  • Automation & Testing: REST Assured, JUnit, TestCafe, SoapUI, QTest
  • Performance: JMeter, K6
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
  • Languages & Frameworks: Java, Angular, Node.js, NestJS
  • Databases & APIs: Postgres, RESTful services
  • Containers & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native testing
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including TDD, BDD, and shift-left testing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based platforms.
Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience designing test strategies for complex enterprise systems.
  • Ability to break down technical challenges and estimate testing efforts effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring QA teams and driving process improvements.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with global teams.
