On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Technical Manager for the Production Unit located in Bihor, reporting to the General Manager.

The Technical Manager is responsible for coordinating all technical activities within the factory and ensuring the optimal operation of equipment and production lines—both mechanically and electrically—to support uninterrupted and efficient production.

• Lead and coordinate the mechanical and electrical maintenance teams.
• Ensure proper functioning of all equipment and production lines.
• Organise and respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Minimise production downtime through efficient interventions.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and technical materials.
• Participate in the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new equipment.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to improve technological workflows.
• Ensure all technical activities comply with safety regulations (HSE, fire safety, legal requirements).
• Maintain accurate records of technical interventions and report to management.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, or related.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics and electrical systems.
• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical failures.
• Knowledge of automation and PLC systems is a strong advantage.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Availability for urgent interventions when necessary.
