For our partner, a company specializing in retail marketing, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Team Lead to help lay the foundation of a newly established Shared Services Center, located in the heart of Bucharest.
Your new role
Lead the Auxiliary accounting team (AP & AR) and be responsible for the cost-effective operation & high performance of the team. The employee will support the integration of migrated activities into the SSC.
Accounting activities
Take the ownership of the AP, T&E and AR processes
Maintain AP & AR system and Supplier Master Database
Supervise AP & AR cut-offs and provide information and analysis
Provide documentation support for internal controls and external audit
Provide reporting to SSC management
Build relationships with key points of contact across the processes and other functions both within the SSC and in countries
Stakeholder management activity
Participate actively in SSC governance, at operational level
Supervise completion of demands
Team management
Manage resource allocation in the Auxiliary accounting team to ensure efficient/effective resource utilization
Spend time on coaching of the team
Review team members against monthly targets and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information produced by the team
What you need to succed
5+ years of accounts payable & receivable experience and validated management experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Economy
Good working knowledge of Financial Applications (SAP a plus) and International Accounting Standards
Experience in shared service environment desirable
English proficiency required, French language a plus
