We are recruiting for a Senior Accountant role on behalf of one of the most important companies in Romania specialising in oilseed processing.

Your new role

• Daily monitoring of bank account balances
• Preparing and updating short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
• Ensuring availability of funds for operational needs
• Executing payments to suppliers and other financial obligations
• Maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions
• Accounting for hedging operations and salary-related expenses (including meal vouchers)
• Preparing reports for internal/external audits and financial statements

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
• Medium-level English proficiency

• Knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards (RASD)
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Advanced Excel skills (including financial formulas and cash-flow modeling)
• Familiarity with IFRS standards, especially IFRS 9
• Understanding of financial instruments and hedging operations

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent organisational and documentation skills
• Analytical thinking and risk anticipation
• Ability to collaborate with external financial experts (consultants, auditors)
