Your new role
As a QA Engineer you will:
- Independently test features or small feature sets, breaking down tasks and estimating time for quality-related activities.
- Develop and maintain test cases (manual and automated).
- Expand and improve test automation frameworks and coverage.
- Apply various testing methodologies effectively throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate closely with developers to support bug fixing and build planning.
- Ensure defect and test automation backlogs are actively managed and resolved.
- Implement and configure testing tools; mentor junior QA staff when needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices within agile teams.
- Take ownership of tasks and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Write robust, maintainable tests that validate key functional requirements and remain effective through code changes.

Education Qualification:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent are a plus.
Technical Expertise to include some of the following:
- Strong experience in both functional (backend and UI) and non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security, scalability).
- Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as: SoapUI, Jenkins, JMeter, Qtest, Angular, Node.js, NestJS, TestCafe, Postgres, JUnit, REST Assured, K6, GitHub Actions, Java.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud-based testing, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and shift-left testing approaches.
- Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps.
