Your new role

This position is focused on driving business growth through strategic engagement with clients in need of temporary technical solutions. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering tailored service offerings that align with operational needs.

  • Spearhead client acquisition and retention efforts, with a strong emphasis on promoting short-term technical service packages.
  • Monitor industry dynamics, gather client insights, and assess competitor positioning to uncover strategic opportunities.
  • Pinpoint organisations across diverse sectors that could benefit from flexible service arrangements.
  • Design and execute outreach campaigns to attract prospects and convert interest into actionable business leads.
  • Conduct thorough market evaluations to uncover emerging trends and untapped segments.
  • Maintain a dynamic opportunity pipeline using internal platforms, ensuring all client and project data is current and accurate.
  • Craft customised service proposals that reflect the client’s operational context and leverage available technical resources.
  • Visit client sites to assess conditions and recommend optimal service configurations.
  • Offer expert advice to clients, guiding them toward the most effective solutions based on their unique challenges.
  • Foster long-term client engagement through consistent support and proactive relationship management.
  • Generate client proposals in alignment with internal pricing structures and procedural guidelines, independently or in collaboration with support teams.
  • Coordinate logistics and subcontractor communications to ensure seamless delivery of rental services.
  • Produce regular performance updates, including forecasts and pipeline metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to manage incoming leads and ensure cohesive service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay informed on product innovations and integrate new knowledge into client solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience in industrial environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in solution-based sales, ideally within HVAC or refrigeration sectors.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Highly driven and results-oriented, with a history of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms and standard office software.
  • Proficient in English for professional communication.
  • Possesses a valid driving licence.
