T&D Sales Manager (Romania)


Looking for an enthusiastic, results‑driven sales professional with solid experience in selling Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) equipment, who has a strong understanding of the Romanian energy market and a relevant network of clients (utilities, integrators, EPC contractors, industrial companies).


The role involves both developing the existing customer portfolio and identifying new business opportunities in a highly technical and competitive market.



Your new role
Develop strong industry networks, customer relationships & strategic partnerships in the sectors of local EPC companies, new energy developers, Grid companies with the goal of closing deals.


  • Promote and strategically sell our complete solution portfolio into the selected market segments and represent us as an innovator and leader in the electrical and technology industry
  • Implement client strategies for both new and existing targeted key accounts such as developers, end users, authorities, consultants, contractors & channel partners to ensure we are not only accepted but a preferred partner of choice.
  • Be responsible and accountable for screening and qualifying of new projects to build healthy strategic pipelines.
  • Early engagement in identifying projects to promote our solutions and services into the project design scope before tender is released to improve win rates during sales and tendering stage.
  • Understand the key decision makers and customer’s buying preferences to develop winning pursuit strategies. Identify the correct offering and channel to market, engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best solution to the customer.
  • Lead the customer interaction and drive the responsible teams throughout the entire process from pretender design stage and throughout the entire sales phase. Including the pitch discussions, proposals & documentation, contract negotiations, price negotiations and securing of the order.



What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in areas of business development, sales, engineering or equivalent.
  • Power transformer manufacturers or other HV manufacturers (product voltage level shall be 110kV and above) sales experience would be better. MV transformer manufacturers is also acceptable.
  • Existing strong customer network connections with relevant industry players and decision makers in the sector(s) is a must.
  • Understanding power transformers and HV products.
  • Proven track record of successfully winning business for the organisation via business development/sales skillset.
  • Practical understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the sales and tendering process and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Professional writing, speaking and presentation, and negotiation skills are a must.
