Commercial Area Manager

For one of our clients, a dynamic company in the food industry, committed to innovation and excellence, we are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Area Manager to join their team in Oradea.

Your new role

Define and implement the commercial policy for food retail stores, taking into account the specific characteristics of each location (placement, size, customer profile, etc.).
Establish and update the pricing policy in line with the company’s strategy and market dynamics.
Analyse the market, competition, and consumer behaviour to identify commercial opportunities.
Develop the product assortment and optimise the product mix.
Negotiate commercial contracts and manage relationships with suppliers.
Monitor key performance indicators (sales, margins, stock rotation) and propose corrective actions when needed.
Coordinate the commercial team and collaborate closely with the operations, procurement, and marketing departments.
Ensure full compliance with commercial policies across all stores within the network.

What you'll need to succeed

Relevant experience in commercial roles within the food retail industry
Team management experience
Advanced knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising, and category management
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills
Strong leadership abilities, results-oriented mindset, and capacity for fast decision‑making
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
Good command of MS Office / CRM / ERP systems
