Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts – remote role

For Our Client – a global leader in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software, with over 350 employees across 14 countries, we are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support commercial operations globally, for medium to large B2B enterprises across Oil & Gas, Transportation, Government, Utilities and Facilities Management.

Your new role

This is a high‑impact, senior individual contributor role, acting as the primary legal partner for commercial activity across the business. You will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and partner daily with Sales, Finance, Product and Service Delivery teams to enable deals, manage risk pragmatically and improve contracting efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Contracting drafts, reviews and negotiates a high volume of commercial agreements, including customer MSAs and SaaS agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, NDAs, DPAs and partner agreements, supports sales teams through deal closing, identifying and escalating non‑standard legal or commercial risks.
  • Risk Management & Governance – ensure contracts align with internal policies and risk appetite, monitor legal and commercial risk across active deal flow
  • Standardisation & Process Improvement – maintain and evolve contract templates and clause libraries, contribute to negotiation playbooks and fallback positions, drive consistency across regions and teams
  • Stakeholder Management – partner closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement and Product
  • Translate legal requirements into clear, actionable business guidance


What you'll need to succeed

  • 3–7 years’ experience in commercial contracts
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate at a pace in a high‑volume environment
  • Clear communicator with a strong commercial mindset
  • Comfortable working with senior non‑legal stakeholders, commercial teams
  • SaaS / technology contracting experience
  • Mixed law firm + in‑house background
  • Working knowledge of GDPR and data protection
  • Experience engaging directly with customers during negotiations
