For one of our clients,we are looking for a QC Engineer for a Renewable Energy project in Olt.

Your new company

• Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC plan, procedures, and checklists.
• Ensure that QA/QC requirements are integrated into the construction planning and execution processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Document and report any non-conformances, defects, or deviations from the project specifications.
• Work closely with construction managers, site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that quality standards are understood and adhered to.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality-related activities.
• Prepare and submit regular QA/QC reports to the QA/QC Manager and Site Manager, highlighting any quality issues and recommended corrective actions.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to address them.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure that they are implemented in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, codes, and regulations.
• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with QA/QC procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to construction teams and subcontractors on QA/QC requirements and best practices.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement on site
• Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Implement quality risk assessments and maintain a risk register.
• Identify opportunities for improving QA/QC processes and procedures.
• Visit Contractors testing facilities, as required, to review quality programs, metrological plans, staff certification and compliance of standard procedures.
• Contribute to lessons learnt and further development and improvement of construction methods in future projects

Your new role

What you'll need to succeed

• A bachelor's degree in a discipline related to construction or renewable energy, engineering or architecture is preferred.
• Experience in Quality Management within the renewable energy industry.
• Strong team building skills.
• Experience in contractual documentation and technical specifications.
• Knowledgeable of Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering and constructability within renewable energy plants.
• Knowledge of regulatory, environmental and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively cross functionally and with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Possess a basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project).
• Advanced proficiency in Construction Management Software
• Experience working in an international company.
• Three years of experience in a discipline related to construction and/or renewable energy.
• Estimating or site auditing experience is preferred.
• More generally, extensive experience in quality control and quality management in any other industry is strongly preferred.
