Looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager for a manufacturing company in Iasi.


As Supply Chain Manager, you will lead three key teams: Planning, Purchasing, and Warehousing. You will be responsible for delivering the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with minimal backlog, optimizing cost and cash flow, and ensuring operational excellence across the supply chain.



Your new role

Local Supply Chain Planning
  • Execute the MPS to meet sales targets with minimal backlog and optimal cost/cash impact.
  • Assess and control planning parameters (lot sizes, MOQ, safety time, lead times).
  • Escalate issues and propose action plans to ensure MPS delivery.
  • Ensure accurate master data in collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing.
  • Support planning-related supplier/customer negotiations and audits.


Purchasing Management
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and services based on MRP/MPS.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for optimal cost, quality, and service.
  • Develop recovery and contingency plans for late deliveries.
  • Evaluate and develop supplier performance.


Warehouse Operations
  • Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage outbound logistics and support production/maintenance.


Budget & RCCP
  • Prepare RCCP settings in collaboration with divisional planning.
  • Align machine and workforce needs with signed off divisional demand plan.
  • Contribute to annual budget planning.


Team Leadership
  • Coach and motivate the planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
  • Set objectives and ensure training and onboarding.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Economics (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years in a similar role within a complex production environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ERP knowledge (SAP or Visual preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in Romanian and English; other languages are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience working in international environments and translating global requirements into local execution.
